Cole's First Easter

A few pictures from Cole's first Easter. We all woke up to find that the Easter Bunny had dropped off some gifts in Gracyn's and Cole's Easter baskets! Grayn got PJ's and a lot of My Little Pony goodies! Cole got some PJ's, a bunny, some legos, and a book! Later that morning, we met Ma, Peepa, and Aunt Jeffie for brunch at Goldent Corral!

NWA Heartwalk

Northwest Arkansas holds an annual HeartWalk to benefit the Heart Association and JB Hunt is a big money raiser for them. CDP, the department I work in was able to raise over $3000 this year. We were excited to go this year to represent JB Hunt in the fight against heart disease! We actually had a really good time. We started off with about a 2 mile walk. Then we walked around the ball park to all the vendor booths. The best part of it was that Gracyn had a blast! That is, until she ran into a tree branch on the way out of the park.

Cole is 9 Months!

Look at this handsome little guy! Cole weighs 18.5 lbs. He had a slight drop in his weight, which the doctor said was perfectly normal! It didn't help that he was getting over a stomach bug at the time of his check up. He is 50% for his weight and height so in other words...he is perfect! He is crawling all over the place now and pulling up some. This little boy will be 10 months before I know it! (He'll be 10 months tomorrow...I've been awful at keeping up with this blog lately!)

A Day at Devil's Den

We've had some really crappy weather lately. Snow, ice, snow, ice. Every couple of weekends will have a beautiful weekend. One of those weekends we decided to take the kids to Devil's Den. We just wanted to get out of the house and enjoy the day!

Last summer I was pregnant when we spent a day at Devil's Den. This time, I got to lug this boy around in the Moby. He loved it!

She thinks she has to stan this way for her pictures now. Goodness.

Cole is 8 Months Old!

It's another "I can't believe Cole is this old" post...but it's true! Time is going by way too fast! I've been terrible at posting updates. I'm several weeks behind on this one...he will be 9 months old this weekend! OOPS! Life is definitely a lot busier with two kids than just one! So we'll pretend this update is from February 22. Cole weighs 19.2 pounds! He still isn't crawling, but he is close! He is now eating crackers and puffs! He loves to grab fistfuls of puffs and try to shove them all in his mouth at once. We have discovered something he doesn't like...avocados! I do know one thing....these monthly pictures are getting harder and harder to take! Stay tuned to his 9 month update, which I'll hopefully get around to doing next week!

Cole is 7 Months Old!

It's hard to believe this little guy is already 7 months old!!! He is so close to being a year old!!! Time to start planning that birthday party! Cole is a hefty 18.5 pounds and 27 inches long. Cole has been eating pureed fruits and veggies and loves them! His favorites are peas, carrots, and pears. I did make some sweet potato and pear mixed together that I know his it just dying to try! Maybe this week! Cole is still breastfeeding, however, I am now supplementing with formula. He usually gets 2 bottles of formula a day. Occasionally I will pump enough for him to have 4 bottles of breast milk at daycare. I think he will crawling very soon now. He likes to get up on all fours and rock his little booty back and forth. I have to admit, it's pretty dang cute!

2013...a Recap

2013 was a great year! We welcomed our sweet, little boy to our family! Gracyn loves being a big sister....she is great with him! Cole is such a happy boy....always a smile on his face. He can psyche you out by crying, then the minute you come in the room he starts smiling. I can't wait to see what adventures 2014 has for us!
