Family Weekend at the River

For the past couple of years, Clint's parent's have rented a house on the White River for us to stay. This year, we stayed at the same place we did last year. It's always a fun, relaxing weekend. We have family over for dinner, spend time down at the river bank, and this year we went swimming at the lake.

Clint's parents went to Ohio and came back with hats for the kids. I have to say, Cole looks very handsome in a hat!

This girl LOVES to fish! Last year, it rained so we didn't get spend much time fishing. This year, she would have spent all day fishing! She obvioulsy has some Peevy blood in her!

The first Hog game of the season was while we were at the river. We lost to Auburn. At least Cole learned to called the Hogs! He had a pretty good teacher!

Sporting her Hog wear!

Cole is enjoying a sandwich on the banks of the lake.

Beach trip 2014 was a blast! We went to Gulf Shores again this year, after missing last summer since little Cole and Brooks were born. This year, we decided to get a condo instead of a house. It was the way to go!!! It was such a nice condo. We can't wait to go back next year!!!

"Are we there yet?!" All the kids were good little travelers!

We LOVED our view! Especially in the morning while drinking our coffee and eating breakfast!

Summer Fun!

Today is "catch up the blog" day. Life has been so busy with two kids and work....I have NO time to blog! So days like this I play catch up. This summer has been an exciting summer! Here is just a glimpse of some things we have done so far.

Gentry Drive Thru Safari - We have gone here every summer with Gracyn so figured it was time we took Cole. We started off by doing the drive thru and seeing all the big animals. We then had a picnic lunch then walked around the petting zoo. They have really changed it up in the last few years giving you less access to the animals. However, Gracyn was able to hold this little white ferret, which was the highlight of her day!

Clint's parents came to town one weekend and we all went to Crystal Bridges. Gracyn was able to pick a piece of art from one gallery and draw it. She choose the one that had the brightest colors. I think she did a wonderful job! I think our favorite part of the museum was the kids area. Clint, Jeffie, and myself had a blast there! Not sure about Gracyn and Cole....I was too busy playing!

After we walked thru the art galleries we decided to head out to the trails. They were setting up for a wedding and as we walked thru the lobby to the elevator we saw Chelsea Clinton getting off. We all thought that was pretty neat. You can actually see the wedding guest in the background...they were enjoying cocktail hour. We were enjoying this precious little girl that we LOVE so much!

Hawaiian Fun Meet - Gracyn doing what she does best!!!

It's a BUG Party!

Cole had a blast at his Bug Party!!! It was a perfect June day spent with our closest friends and family. Clint grilled out burgers and we also had some yummy, buggy food including Grubs -n- cheese, Bug Kabobs, Ladybug dip, and Snail Shells! The girls had a blast with the bug dig and playing at the park.  Cole LOVED smashing into his cake, opening presents, and spending time with Brooks! Cole is one lucky little boy to be loved so much! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY SWEET BOY!!!

Cole is 12 Months!

How is it that this dark headed, squishy baby boy is already a year old?! I feel like that time just flew by, twice as fast as it did with Gracyn! It has been a blessed year for sure! It started out a little scary when he was taken to Arkansas Children's Hospital at 6 weeks old, then admitted to Washington Regional at 8 weeks old. However, after that he showed us what a happy, healthy little guy he was! At his 12 month check up, Cole weighed in at 21 lbs 13 ounces. He is such a mama's boy, which is ok with me! He loves nothing more to be in my lap giving me little snuggles! A couple of Cole's other favorite things: being tickled, making sounds with his mouth, putting anything he finds on the floor in his mouth. Oh, and he LOVES his big sister! I couldn't imagine my life without my little roley poley Coley!

Cole is 11 Months Old!!!

Cole is 11 months old! He weughs 19.8 lbs! He is standing on his own, but not interested in taking that first step on his own! Cole loves feeding himself. His favorite foods to feed himself are bananas, cherrios, and crackers. We even ventured out to spaghetti one night. He was a mess after that meal, but he enjoyed it! I just can't believe he is going to be a year old in a month. Where has the time gone?!

A Very Busy Day!

Gracyn and Cole had a very busy day last Saturday! We had an Easter party, a birthday party, and a sleepover all in the same day!

Gracyn had a blast getting her face painted at the Easter party! She even got to plant some flowers to take home!

The Easter Bunny even came to visit!

After the Easter party and Dixon's birthday party, we headed down to Van Buren for a sleepover with Caroline and Brooks. These kiddos sure do have a lot of fun together!
