Days with Daddy!
Clint keeps Gracyn evey other Thursday and every Friday. It's great bc they get to enjoy time together and it cuts down on daycare cost! I love seeing the random picturs he post on facbebook...it gives me a little glimpse into what they are doing that day! Here is a little glimpse for all of you reading this!

Dancie Dance!
So we pretty much have done nothing all month. Well, I take that back. We had Clint's family reunion a couple of weeks ago. We had a good time, I just didn't get very many pictures. Gracyn did put on a cute little dance number for all of us. However, being the smart one that I am, I recorded it sideways so I won't be posting it. Dancing is Gracyn's newest obsession. Anytime music comes on the TV we have to dance, espcially when it's Yo Gabba Gabba Dancie Dance! She will literally grab you off the couch or from whatever you are doing to make you dance with her. Here are just a few pictures of her getting her dancie dance on! Of course, you can't really tell she is dancing but she is cute, nonetheless!!!

Beary Best Friends!
Katie and I have been planning for the day the girls would be old enough to take them to Build a Bear. Well...they have finally reached the age! We had a Mother Daughter Day that consisted of Build a Bear, shopping, dinner at Mimi's Cafe, yogurt ay Yum Yo's, and play time!
We started off will Build a Bear. Caroline picked a limited edition Blizzard Ice Cream Bear and dressed her in a Tuti Fruiti bikini. She named her Tuti. Gracyn picked a silver cat and dressed her in a ballerina outfit and named her Meow.

So much fun! We look forward to doing this again!

Meet Meow and Tuti!
We had a lot of fun, but was so exhausted by the end of the evening. Mother Daughter Days aren't as easy as they were just a couple of months ago when the girls were ok with sitting in the stroller. Katie and I decided that our next outing will just be a Mothers Day out. Looking forward to that!

My Little Firecracker!
We had a great 4th of July this year! We were able to spend it with family and friends, pop some of our own fireworks, and see a couple amazing firework shows! Saturday, Clint's parents came over. Clint smoked some ribs then we headed over to Jeffie's house for some dinner and dessert. Jeffie passed the CPA exam so Ma brought an ice cream sundae box. Mmmmm...I love ice cream Sundays! She also brought Gracyn some 4th of July balloons! After dinner, we popped some fireworks that Gracyn bought, then headed to the mall to see the Freedom Firework show.

The next day, we met everyone for breakfast at Susan's. Clint, Jeffie, and I had the Sweet Breakfast. It came with eggs, bacon, sausage, or ham, and a GIANT cinnamon roll. You can bet that we will be going back to Susan's for breakfast in the near future! Afterward, we were planning on going to Joplin to take my adoptive family the things we had bought them. Clint's parent's had planned on driving up and seeing the damage, then heading to Bristow from there. However, I had a sinus infection all week and had woke up that morning with the worst pain behind my left eye that I had ever had! So, we didn't make it to Joplin. I decided to go to a walk in clinic instead. I got a shot of sinus cocktail and a Z pack. I felt better very soon after! So, that evening we went to the Naturals game with Scott and Shannon. It was miserable hot for the first hour or so. Then it rained and cooled things down. After the game, we saw a spectacular fire work show!

Gracyn got a new bat and ball at the game. It's never too early to start softball practice!

Cruisin' Around Town!
Last Saturday was Caroline's 2nd birthday! I can't believe she is already two years old! Went down Saturday afternoon for the party and planned on staying the night. Eric got a new 3D TV so wanted us all to have a sleepover/movie night. I have to say, it's a pretty amazing TV! The party was fabulous! It was a Chicka Chicka Boom Boom theme and the kids had a blast! They even got to do a little crafting!

The party wore these girls out! Just chilling on the couch.

The next morning, we got the girls outside to take a ride in the Jeep. Caroline is quiet the little driver! I was a little nervous that Gracyn would be scared to ride in it, but I was so wrong! She loved it and had so much fun!

Crafting! Making a magnet and a door hanger!

My Little Gymnast!
Today was the first day of something I hope Gracyn will enjoy and stick with...gymnastics! I took it when I was about five and again when I was in 7th grade. It's something I always wish I had stuck with. Not saying I would have been good, but I love it. I'm hoping Gracyn will to. If not, we will try something else. I do already have a pink/purple softball glove picked out! : )
Anyway, we arrived this morning and started off with circle time. All the little tots stand on a carpet square and did some stretches. Gracyn just didn't know what to think. She just stood there. Then, she noticed a slide over in the corner. She ran over to it, and I chased her down and brought her back to her square. This happened several times til she started throwing a fit. Then all the kids came over to where the slide was so we could do rotations. Graycn's first rotation was the slide. All was good. Next, we moved to the trampoline. I figured she would want to do that but all she wanted was to slide. Eventually, we moved over to the floor to do somersaults and some other things. She did do a couple somersaults, but then ran back to the slide! Then we moved to the balance beam. She did really well the first time around, but the second time was questionable. The last thing we did was on the opposite side of the gym. The kids would jump into the big foam pool. I have no idea what this thing is called, but Gracyn loved it. Then we all went back to the floor to do circle time again. Gracyn behaved very well for this and didn't even look at the slide!
The instructor told me it would be a couple of weeks before she got the hang of what we do at each rotation. I sure hope so! I was exhausted chasing her around the whole time!

Who Let These Animals Out?!!!
Saturday, we got up early and went to breakfast at You Say Tomato. It was a hole in the wall, hippyish restaurant. I have to say...they had the BEST cinnamon rolls EVER! I also got the breakfast casserole, but was too full from the huge cinnamon roll to eat all my casserole. I would defiantly put this on my list of restaurants to go back to next time we visit KC.
Playing with the door bell at You Say Tomato!

It was finally time to head to the zoo! The girls had been waiting for week and were both so excited to finally get to see the animals. Katie and I had zoo outfits made, Gracyn in a monkey outfit and Caroline in a lion outfit. I have to say, they were the cutest little girls in the entire zoo! First up was the polar bear exhibit. We all had so much fun watching him dive under water then flip off the wall.
Gracyn sees him!
Caroline loved the polar bear most of all!
Can you see the polar bear in the back?
It took a lot of coaxing but we were finally able to get the girls out of the polar bear exhibit. They took off without us and were on the loose!
We stopped at the nests of some kind of duck. There were about four or five that had nests all built around the trunk of a tree. A male duck was on the other side of the fence gathering straw then would fly over the low fence to the nest. The female duck would take the straw out of his beak and tuck it into her nest. It was pretty interesting to watch. As we were leaving, the male duck went to fly over the fence and came within inches of swiping Caroline's face with this wing. Caroline was a little freaked out and we had some tears.
Watching the ducks sit on their eggs.
Next we headed thru Australia. We walked thru a gate and came into an area with sheep. The sheep were out and about. Gracyn had some cheerios in her stroller tray. I guess one of the sheep decided those cheerios sounded good. He headed straight for Gracyn's stroller. He helped himself to the cheerios, while Gracyn was screaming. I had her buckled so couldn't get her out. All I could do was lean over her and protest her from the ravenous sheep! Meanwhile, Katie is screaming, "Get her out, get her out!" I'm screaming, " I can't! She's buckled in!" Eric is trying to get the sheep away from the stroller, and Clint is standing there laughing. It was quiet the scare! Once everyone was settled down we continued our way thru Australia. We stopped at the kangaroo spot to snap a couple of pictures.
Best Friends!!!
We stopped at the train station to get a cool drink while we waited for the train to arrive. The girls were stealing the show!
!
The Bunzels enjoying the train ride.
Gracyn enjoyed the train ride until we went into a dark tunnel. She was a little scared then, but I think it had more to do with all the other kids screaming.
We found a little playground in front of the Discovery Center. We let the girls play on the jungle gym and go down the slides then needed to head into the Discovery Center to change some diapers. The Discovery Center was pretty neat. It was two stories, the top level was at street level. You could get down to the second level by taking a big slide. Clint and Gracyn did that, but the rest of us headed back out.

Climbing on some logs!
After the discovery center, we came upon a carousel! Caroline said she wanted to ride on the giraffe. We found the giraffe for her and decided to put Gracyn on the elephant. She did not want anything to do with that! So Gracyn and I moved on over to sit in the peacock. Once the carousel started moving she thought it was fun!

Gracyn and me in the peacock! Of course, my head is cut off by a pole!
After we rode the carousel, we headed over to Africa. We had already passed thru Asia and Australia and were on to see the elephants, tigers, lions, and monkeys! First up was the elephants! We weren't even thru with the elephant walk when both the girls passed out! At this point, we decided it was getting to be lunch time and we had all seen the animals of Africa before so we decided to head back to The Plaza to get some lunch. Our babies were so good at the zoo and had so much fun
