Friends, Food, Football, and FUN!

We have the bestest friends ever! We love spending time with them whether it be a night out or just hanging out at the house. We started the weekend off with Heather coming up from Little Rock. It had been awhile since I had seen Heather but when we get together it's like we've never been apart a day since college! We didn't do much that night, just went to the grocery store then rented Bridesmaids. It was a funny movie, but not what I expected at all.

Saturday, we got up to Clint smoking a pork butt. Gameday was on it's way! Heather and I took Gracyn to gymnastics then after that Gracyn and I went to Lawson's first birthday party while Heather went to Rick's bakery to buy gameday cookies! We were late for Lawson's party but it was nice to see some friends and share in Lawson's first birthday!

After the party Gracyn passed out. Poor kid was so tired and was late for her afternoon nap. While she was napping, Eric, Katie, and Caroline showed up. Caroline was so ready to see Gracyn that we had to take her into the room to see Gracyn sleeping. Shannon and G-rise showed up just in time for kick off! We enjoyed some Hogwild dip, cheese dip, pinwheels, and armadillo eggs at te beginning of the game then at half time Clint pulled out the pork butt and we enjoyed some delicious BBQ! We aren't going to say much about the game because it wasn't pretty. I think our biggest entertainment was watching Gracyn and Caroline play together.

Since the game was a bust (we still love our hogs!) we took the girls to the park. They really do care for each other so much and have so much fun together. Hearing them say each others name in fits of giggles just warms my heart!

Our original plan was for the guys to rent the fight at the house that night and watch the little girls. Us big girls were going to do some shopping and go to Common Grounds for coffee and dessert. That didn't happen. The guys decided they were going to Hooters to watch the fight while us girls stayed home to clean the house an bathe the girls. TYPICAL! We had fun though. We made a pallet for Gracyn and Caroline and then we just sat around and talked.

This weekend we are headed down to Van Buren. Gracyn and Caroline are having their pictures made together! They are going to be too cute!!!

Let Me Out of Here!

It seems the only place I can ever take a picture of Gracyn is her standing at the front door!

It's About Time!!!

Clint finally popped the question and I said YES!!!! We've actually planning for a couple of weeks now, but now it's official! I have the most beautiful ring ever! It's nothing like I thought I wanted, but when I tried it on I KNEW it was MY ring! Little did I know, Clint went back the next day and bought it! He tried to throw me off. He had me look at other rings and even sent me back to look at this ring knowing it was going to be gone! What a little sneak!

We set the date a couple of weeks ago, May 12, 2012. We're doing a destination weding to....Las Vegas!!! Now, it's not going to be cheesey, Elvis chapel Vegas wedding. We're having it at The Grove in the Almond Orchard. It's a beautiful location and is about 20 minutes off the strip. It's going to be small with close family and friends.

I'm looking forward to planning and seeing everything fall into place!!!

A Hog-tastic Time!

Yesterday was the first game of the 2011 season! Wooo Pig Soiee!!! We started the day off in Bristow. We left there and went straight to Whole Hog to meet Eric, Katie, and Caroline for some delicious BBQ! After lunch, we all went back to the house to watch football and hang out. Bill and Sarah ended up coming over for a little bit. It was great to see them since we hardly get to anymore since they moved to LR. Jeffie came over as well. While the guys were watching football, us girls decided to walk to the neighborhood park. The little girls were so cute! They love to hold hands and give hugs to each other!

Hugs and Kisses!!!

Headed to the park!

Weeeeee!!!!

The girls had a great time at the park! So did the rest of us! We slid some and played on the Twirly Whirly thing!

After the park we were ready to head to the game!!! Gracyn has been working on her Hog Call and it's pretty much perfect! She had a blast at the game and was really good. Last year, she was much smaller and would usually sleep thru half the game. This year, she is bigger and much more aware of what is going on. She loved it when everyone called the hogs, loved the band, and loved Big Red!

Wooo Pig Soiee!!!

A hog win = a happy family!
